Ponte de Lima is a co-op winery, joining small growers throughout the Lima sub-region of Portugal’s Vinho Verde appellation. Unlike many a Vinho Verde, which can be sharp enough to scrape the ice off your windshield on a cold winter’s morning, this 100% loureiro grape version is decidedly friendlier – and super-classy too! Crisp and fresh, sunny and bright, with spectacular floral notes and metric tons of minerality – all with this lovely, slightly effervescent acidity and a peachy, pomelo, tangerine sort of creamy roundness that is irresistible!
